I only knew how to do a few things in my life well—sell homes for a living while trying to be a good wife and mother.

Writing words to form a story was a whole new world for me.

But I am doing it.

What compelled me write?

I wanted to help others avoid the grief trap that I fell into and could not find my way to live forward.

How does a parent tell the story of losing their child?

You create an amazing story that others can relate to in their own lives.

This is my first book called Veridien. It is a fantasy novel about grief and growth on the planet Orbalus.

Tragedy struck Trank when a fire killed his family; he turned to dark magic for revenge, and then others sealed him in a cave.

Four hundred years later, a young girl finds a magic stone and wants to know why she has a connection to it.

Elara and her friends venture into a corrupted forest to find the needed relics to keep Trank in his cave and to restore balance.
